Automated e-mails in QlikSense

Dear community,

do you know if it is feasible in QlikSense to send 'alert' e-mails, meaning that when a certain value is reached for a given variable, an e-mail is sent to a resource in charge of monitoring the value of that variable?

Hi @MGILLOT ,

If you are using Qlik Cloud with Application Automation, of course! There are a number of ways to do this and it depends where your thresholds are stored etc. If you just want to check if some variable is greater than value X, then you can use the "Get Expression Value" block to evaluate anything you'd like, and then send an email accordingly. I would suggest looking through the stock templates library as a number of examples connect to Qlik apps and evaluate data. The possibilities are nearly endless :).
