Automation List Dimension showing no dimensions while apps still shows them there

I've got a simple automation I use to clean out master dimensions. It uses list dimensions block and then the delete dimension block, very simple. It ran fine and when I use it to check if there are any dimensions left in the app it says there are none. However, when I open the app all of the dimensions are still there. I did notice this problem a long while back, but if I reloaded the app from the hub the dimensions would disappear. This doesn't work anymore. The dimensions just stays there. I've tried to reload the app from various places, have logged out and back in. Nothing seems to work. The automation still states no dimensions in the app and the app says the opposite. I'm finding the exact same issue with variables (list variables block with a delete variable block, confirm variables have been removed with automation, app showing the exact opposite). Please help

It seems putting a save app block at the end of the automation solves the problem.
