How to update or replace a data file in Qlik Cloud using Automation?

Hi Qlik Community,

I’m working with Qlik Application Automation in Qlik Cloud and need to update/replace a data file that’s stored in the DataFiles space.

Does Qlik allow us to overwrite or update an existing data file using Automation?
If yes, which blocks should I be using for this (As I was unable to find an Update datafile block)?

Any examples, best practices, or links to relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @AyeshaChhapra

Going by what we have under the files tag for the QCS connector i dont currently think there is a block there to suit you needs.

Also tried looking at the dev docs

Data files REST | Qlik Developer Portal

But i dont think there is something there.

Maybe keep this open, someone might have looked at something that we missed?
