Is there a list or an overview of the scheduled tasks similar to the QMC?

Hello,

Our company is migrating from Qlik Sense Enterprise to Qlik Cloud.

I have tested the reload with a few apps. I created tasks for the apps using the scheduler, which is very similar to the tasks in QMC.

However, I am missing an overview where I can see the chained tasks. In QMC, you can display the preceding and following tasks.

I can also see in the task list whether a task has been completed successfully, when it was last executed, and when the next execution will be.

Is there something similar in Qlik Cloud?

What can you recommend for chained reloads? Scheduler tasks or automations?

I read somewhere that automations have a one-hour limit. Is that correct?

Very good questions @Thomas23.

In Qlik Cloud, in the Monitoring Apps Space, there is an application called Reload Analyzer that displays most - if not all - information related to reloads.

Regarding task chaining, I don’t believe this functionality is included in the Reload Analyzer application or in any other tool similar to QMC. Additionally, the current task chaining only supports a 1:1 relationship between tasks, so it cannot be applied to multi-task chaining scenarios. In such cases, you could use Qlik Automation, although this is not always suitable, especially for highly complex scenarios.

For more advanced or complex use cases, you can always leverage Qlik REST APIs and/or Qlik CLI, both of which allow you to manage apps as well as monitor them effectively.
