Qlik Automations - MS Teams Block - Is it possible to: Send message to User

Hi,

Using the MS Teams Blocks on Qlik Automations, is it possible to send a user a message directly?

We have and successfully post messages to channels, but i can't find a method in the block to allow us to post direct to a user, is this feature available and how do I build it?

It doesn't appear to be possible.

We are only able to add the MS Teams Team ID and Channel ID.

The MS Teams connector block doesn't contain a block field for 'User ID'.

When adding this connector we did not include this use case and, at this point, I'm not sure if the API of MSTeams allows sending direct messages. We'll take a deeper look in the upcomming weeks.

@PietMichielRappelet is it possible to include an @mention in the message delivered to the channel? When trying, it just comes through as plain text to Teams.

Unfortunately no, the Teams API does not support mentioning users.
