Task not refreshing data

Hi,

I have a scheduled task, which pulls data every other day. The job says successful, however the data does not gets refreshed. When we manually refresh the data gets refreshed. I did check and task is in enable status. What can be wrong. The data is being pulled from an excel.

Check the security permissions to your excel file. Perhaps you have permissions so when you run manually but the system account the task runs under does not.

I have got this resolved, apparently the file was placed later than the task was running. I was checking the file update timing, and hence the confusion.
