Connect to Microsoft SQL Server database using Direct Query

Hello,

I want to connect to my Microsoft SQL Server Database hosted on my local computer using the Direct Query method.

The problem I'm facing is that using the "Direct Access Gateway" connector (I connected successfully) the option for Direct Query can't be used / does not appear.

And now I am trying to connect with the regular SQL Server Connector but I am getting this error

ERROR [08S01] [Qlik][SqlServer] Connection broken unexpectedly

Do you know how could I solve this issue? Or if there are better methods to do this.

At the end, my goal is to have the Qlick Report update its data automatically to show real-time data.

If you know any other way to auto-refresh the data automatically without Direct Query I would also appreciate that.
