Using the Reload Button with Multiple Users

So we're using a reload button, but we often have two users trying to reload at the same time. Resulting in this error:

detail: A pending reload request already exists for this app

Is there a way keep the button greyed out for BOTH users until the reload is done? Even the reloading user can 'update' it if they refresh their dashboard, but I want it unusable.

Maybe a pre-condition, like ask Qlik to check to see if a reload is going on and return a message to the user so they stop pushing the button over and over?

Sorry for all the questions, my users do tend to push the limits of what Qlik can do!
