Can we install Data Movement Directory to Another Directory in Linux?

Hi Team,

By default, during the installation of Data Movement, the application is installed in the /opt directory. We would like to confirm if it is possible to change the installation directory to another location, as our client has strict requirements regarding directory usage.

I recall that while installing Qlik Replicate, we had the flexibility to choose both the installation and data directories. Any Experts can confirm if similar options are available for the installation of the Data Movement Gateway?

Nope, we can't. The code checks if it's /opt and throws an error if it cannot create it.
