recently had the same issue.
The PERSONAL area of SharePoint, has a different URL than the regular site.
SO --- you have to have a separate metadata connection using that different base url

not a real example: https://yourstuff-my.sharepoint.com/personal/your_profile_name_stuff

base url: https://yourstuff-my.sharepoint.com

subsite path for made up example personal stuff: /personal/your_profile_name_stuff

then, from there - you should be able to find your list, unless you have some setting preventing it from working.

if you see some lists but not others on that same subsite, do a stare and compare of various settings and permissions, for working/visible one vs the one you cant see, until you find why one shows up and the other does not, in the list of lists

Does anyone have an example if its possible or how within Qlik SaaS cloud i can create a successful connection to a personal list in SharePoint.

the SharePoint Meta connector i can authenticate with the base URL no issue (https://somecompany-my.sharepoint.com) , but getting to the list is challenging.

below is the example URL:

https://somecompany-my.sharepoint.com/personal/someuser_com/Lists/listname.aspx

any advise would be appreciated , i have already swapped out the list name for the ID
