    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Environment&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Qlik Sense May 2025 Patch 20&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SharePoint Online via Web Storage Provider Connector&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Windows Server 2019&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Symptoms&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We started experiencing several seemingly unrelated issues when accessing files stored in SharePoint Online:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In the Data Load Editor&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SharePoint connections became extremely slow to open.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The connection dialog would sometimes spin indefinitely.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Creating a new SharePoint connection occasionally failed with:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Could not get connection info from server&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Browser Console&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The browser console showed repeated errors similar to:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;connector: error executing connector method getConnectionInfo,
retrying: QvWebStorageProviderConnectorPackage.exe&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reload Scripts&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reloads using SharePoint files failed intermittently with:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Error: noFileSize&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Example:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;LOAD *

(ooxml, embedded labels, table is Test);&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The error often occurred after approximately 60 seconds.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reload Performance&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reloads that previously completed in around 30 seconds suddenly required several minutes, and some reloads failed while others succeeded.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Initial Investigation&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We verified:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SharePoint Online accessibility&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;DNS resolution&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;TLS connectivity&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Microsoft Graph connectivity&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Qlik Sense patch level&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Web Storage Provider Connector version&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Security rules&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Scheduler permissions&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Service account permissions&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We also compared the environment against another Qlik Sense server running the same version where SharePoint connections worked normally.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Nothing obvious was found.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Important Observation&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;During troubleshooting we discovered that the following folder had stopped updating around the same time the issue started:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Custom Data\QvWebStorageProviderConnectorPackage&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Specifically, the log folder contained no recent updates even though the connector was actively being used.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;On a healthy server, new log files continued to be generated.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Resolution&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We stopped the relevant Qlik services and renamed the connector state folder:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Custom Data\QvWebStorageProviderConnectorPackage&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;to:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Custom Data\QvWebStorageProviderConnectorPackage_old&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;After restarting the services, Qlik recreated the folder automatically.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Immediately afterwards:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;SharePoint connections opened normally.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;getConnectionInfo&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; errors disappeared.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;New connector log files were generated.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reload performance returned to normal.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reload tasks started succeeding again.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Root Cause (Suspected)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We were not able to identify the exact file responsible, but the evidence suggests corruption in the Web Storage Provider Connector's local state, cache, token store, or logging data under:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Custom Data\QvWebStorageProviderConnectorPackage&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The connector executable itself was not replaced and connector versions were identical between the working and non-working environments.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Lessons Learned&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you experience any combination of:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Could not get connection info from server&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;getConnectionInfo&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;
