It is all links that I try, that begin with 'support.qlik.com'. One example:

post with the broken link: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-NPrinting/Nprinting-service-account-qlikview-named-cal-issue/td-p/95895

target of broken link: https://support.qlik.com/articles/000033911

Every KB link from within a community post recently has failed for me (I can't tell if it is really broken, or if a company policy is blocking it due to a bad certificate or something). Is this happening to everyone? The broken links begin 'support.qlik.com.'

I am having my second system-down incident in a week, and I keep seeing promising leads but always hit a dead end. It is very frustrating, since most of the posts are created by customers and partners (myself included), but now the answers are all taken away.

Do you want to share a link for me to test?

Regards,

It could be old content that have been archived or an old broken link that posts to a document that has been moved.

Please share some details/examples where you're facing problems.

Hello @doherja

The old support portal (which hosted old articles) was discontinued and archived in February. This was the pre-2020 portal, I believe, which is why you will find most links formatted like this in pre-2020 posts.

However, the links should not break; they should redirect you to the new portal instead. Are you seeing an error message instead?

As for what you can do if you find an old link that no longer works: If no title was provided by the poster, search for the context in Qlik Community or a search engine of your choice. (If you have a title, search for that). If the article was still valid, then a similar one likely exists, although most articles from the old portal were no longer accurate.

The one that you are talking about does have an older mirror in the Qlik Community: Dedicated NPrinting Server & Engine Service Account Configuration

Most relevant information is accessible on the help site as well regarding account requirements, though: User accounts

All the best,
Sonja
