The Quick Reply option does not work for me, it opens the same page as the Reply button. Also the layout is a bit off:

Where are you seeing the option for Quick Reply? All I see is Reply?

You need to go to My settings > Preferences > Display and activate it (last item on the list).

this is being fixed today as a global setting so there will be no need to make the change on your end in profile settings. Everyone will have 'quick reply'. allow a few minutes please for you to see the change 🙂 thank you for writing in on this!

quick reply lets you reply faster, when you click on it a box will appear right below the thread, no ability to change formatting, add links, etc. Use regular reply if your needs are more comprehensive. This will give you more options to add to your reply. hope this helps!
