I need to show the Month on Month % increase/decrease of sales with the help of waterfall chart. How to add the time as dimension in waterfall chart?

For eg:

I have a field name SALES.

Jan-18 1000

Feb-18 1200

Mar-18 400

Apr-18 4000

etc.

So I need to show the monthly % increase/decrease with the help of waterfall chart.

Current version of Qlik Sense Waterfall does not support dimensions

Hi,

there is a workaround for this.

the trick is, you have to use a stacked bar chart, where one of the expression (from the two) will be the offset and its color will be white.

the 2nd expression will be visible, which will be on the top of the 1st not visible expression.
