Hello,

Does qlik use the indexes created in the DW at all e.g. when creating a qvd-file?

My question is, are indexes in a DW unnecessary if the only "user" of the DW is QLIK or do qlik benefit from indexes aswell?

Indexing helps in speeding up data extraction from DW. We use SQL queries to get only the required data into QVD this will depend on the performance of DW. Having indexing will help speed up this process.
