    <description>&lt;P&gt;If you have a type 2 dimension in Compose it does contain the Type 1 dimension in it.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You don't need to do anything.&amp;nbsp; You could create a view (Type1_vw) - pulling the OID and filtering to end date = 12/31/9999'&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;That will provide the type 1 perspective of data and you can join to that from the OID in the fact table.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
