Anyone uses Qlik Compose for transforms within snowflake? Wondering about pros/cons, not sure if a DW automation tool that builds data vault type structures is a big time saver and worth the cost. It seems that most folks use DBT or fivetran….

Hi, if you are looking for a more free-form transformation capability that supports sql based transformations, as well as automation of data patterns like Data marts with Dimensions and Facts, I recommend looking at Qlik Cloud Data Integration.
While the other solutions you mention support ingestion and transformation, they do not offer a fully integrated data pipeline to support end-to-end ingestion and transformation. Qlik Cloud Data Integration supports creating fit-for-purpose data sets on Snowflake as well as data marts where you don’t need to create a vault-like architecture the way Compose does. It’s an agile pipeline creation tool.

For full transparency, I am a Qlik employee 😊
