QDC Installation Error on AWS EC2 - Amazon Linux 2 - Instance

I am having an error while installing QDC on an AWS EC2 node running Amazon Linux 2.

./QDCinstaller.sh: line 96: syntax error near unexpected token `>'
./QDCinstaller.sh: line 96: ` exec > >(tee $output_file)'

Has anyone experienced the same on AWS?

It seems to be a problem when I execute the installation as a root user.

Having passed that, now I am getting:

podium_dist setup
-----------------

Error: file_fdw not found at /usr/lib/file_fdw.so

I am pointing to AWS Postgres RDS DB rather than a local install of Postgres.
