I want to ask :

DOes QLikview Publisher also responsible for fetching data from different databases and load it in qlikview ?? Till now i upload data in qlikview with help of edit script.

Please resolve the confusion.

QlikView Publisher simply schedules and reloads QVWs. It is the script in the QVWs that attach to and load the data. Publisher is just a mechanism to automate the reload (and distribution) of QVWs. So Publisher is not responsible for fetching data from different databases. The script in your QVW is responsible for attaching to and loading data from different databases.

My reply may be late. But just want to add that Publisher can load data from databases and store into QVD file using the option under Supporting Tasks. This is applicable only with Publisher License.
