I do not see Google Maps in the demo.

What should I do?

Hi,

1st way:

You need to download the extension *.qar (I knowed of cluster, marker and heat) and install its in your computer, on the next folders:

Windows 7:

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects

C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Document

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects

C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Document

Windows Server 2008:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Document

Windows Server 2003:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Document

If you install the extensions they are definitely installed, but they might not be listed in Settings --> Document Properties. The trick to seeing them is to go into Web View mode and create a custom object using the right click menus. All the extensions will be there. Apparently extensions are only configurable and viewable in the Web View.

2nd way:

Hi,

can anyone help me? I have a huge problem about including maps in my dashboard. I got to do it but in WEBVIEW mode then I want to get it like developer in a normal mode!! I don't find out the way to do it. I rode everything is published but no results. I'm so confused and gettin' really desperated.

Actually I'm developing a project for a costumer who wants to see the EUROPEAN MAP and showing information.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Gracias por responder.

Pues el problema es que no entiendo su funcionamiento. Siempre me sale el

mismo mapa, si quiero solo España y que vaya según la selección aumentando

el zoom centrándose por ejemplo en una zona determinada de España. Y lo

mismo con Europa, etc, etc,..

He modificado en el SCRIPT las cifras para ver como se modificaba el mapa y

no veo cambios. Lo hago tanto en el SCRIPT del documento como en la

expresión de latitude y longitude.

Si me echas una mano te lo agradecería.

Que extensión estas usando? Google Maps? cual de los 3 tipos que hay?

Cluster, Heatmap o Marker? de ser así asegurate que tienes todas las extensiones bien instaladas. (arriba tienes las indicaciones de donde tienen que ir).

Imagínate que quieres hacer uno de HeatMap o Marker, (funcionan mediante coordenadas)

Si lo que estas haciendo es un mapa de svg entonces asegurate de tener instalada la extension

una vez la tienes instalada selecciona el mapa que te interese. (El de Europa, el de españa por províncias, por comunidades....) recuerda para que te funcione lo del zoom... el mapa tiene que estar a un tamaño identico que los que lleva la extensión del svg por defecto. Los mapas svg funcionan mediante el pathID que lleva el código del propio mapa SVG (con el notepad lo puedes ver)

Ejemplo mapa de España comunidades:

path id="ES-AN" title="Andalucia"

path id="ES-AR" title="Aragon"

path id="ES-AS" title="Asturias"

.......

Tendrás que configurarte un campo que tenga el datos del PathID

ID_Provincia (en mi caso es comunidad) sería el ID_Path del mapa. Tienes que mirar cada svg que IDPath tiene.

Espero que con esto te quede mas claro. De todas formas te recomiendo que te des de alta en:
