I am using Load/Simplify shape files in QGA Plus to bring in New Zealand boundaries like District Health Boards, Census Area Units which have the associated polygons for them. However when I do an Geoanalytics Area map, it decides to use its own location services and plots some areas and not others.

Is there a way to force the layer to use the locally loaded data which is geographical correct?

I have used GeoQlik previously and never had issues.

Anyone overcome the product trying to be too helpful.

Thanks in advance

Rodney

Patric,

Thanks for the pointer, I had loaded data from a ERSI Shapefile and it wasn't obvious from anything I had read to use the area field (geometry) as I had assumed like many others in Qlik that since I had named the Shape identifier field to that in the application data that it was all connected up

Thanks for teh prompt reply as I was going around in circles.

Regards

Rodney
