Getting to Know your Gold Client Engineers

Meet Dinesh Dash. Dinesh is from the eastern part of India from State Odisha. He moved to the UK 14 years ago and is currently living in London with his family. He earned his Bachelors Degree of Engineering in the Electrical and Electronics at the National Institute of Science and Technology.

Dinesh has 15 years of experience with SAP BI/BW Data Warehousing Solutions which include Data modeling, scheduling and reporting in multiple SAP functional areas including GL, CO, SD, MM, IM, PP, and others. He has also led projects in all phases: plan and analysis, design, build, test, and deployment of large global landscapes and implementations.

Dinesh has been with Qlik for over one and a half years working with both Gold Client for BW and Gold Client for ERP. Prior to Qlik, he was a Senior BI Consultant at Capgemini Consulting UK Limited implementing SAP BI solutions.

Dinesh considers the best feature of Gold Client for BW to be the Data Snap and scenario feature. “We can update the non-production BW environments with production data for quality testing which is highly essential in BW project environment.”

One of the biggest BW project challenges Dinesh has faced with a customer was one who has a huge data volume and data model complexity. This required extra time for the implementation process but was a complication Dinesh overcame.

Dinesh has visited many cities for Gold Client for ERP and BW implementations and projects, but two of his favorites are in Germany: Cologne and Munich. When outside of the office, he likes traveling to new places, spending time outdoors, and watching fact-based movies and documentaries.
