Hello

Last year 2021 we had problems with System Build Plus after converting to S/4 HANA from ECC 6. It was related to the R3* tools. The R3 tools had been changed from SAP.

At the time we were ion 8.7.2. Have this been fixed in 8.7.4?

Regards

Hello Fredrik,

System Build Plus support for S4/HANA systems beyond 1709 has not been added to Gold Client 8.7.4. Here is more information from the System Build Plus user guide:

System Build Plus generates export files using R3load programs. SAP’s Java based
Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) is used to install a new system with these
export files. If the source system has a HANA DB running NW 7.52 or higher, an
SWPM error message occurs preventing the install from proceeding. Only SAP
S/4HANA 1709 and earlier versions are SWPM supported with the R3load process.
Refer to OSS Note 2684423 for more information.

Thanks Steve. Even though its not the reply I was hoping for, it is a good reply. Clear and to the point.

Saves me a ton of job instead of testing it out for myself.

Thanks again

Regards
