Gold Client 8.7.0 was released to customers at the beginning of February 2021. Below are a few new key features:

Data Exclusions

Users now have the ability to deactivate data linkages at export runtime without changing the Data Framework. This feature allows users to exclude areas of data on an ad-hoc basis which may not be required for the data copy. Examples of data exclusion areas include: attachments, change documents, text, and master data. This functionality is executed using the Data Exclusion button on the Export Control screen

New Configuration Screen Layout

The Gold Client Configuration screen has been reorganized to allow for easier access of utilities:

S4/HANA Master Data View Compatibility

The Gold Client export program now leverages master data views instead of standard tables to query data to improve export performance on S4/HANA systems.
