Qlik Deployment Framework 1.7.1 released

QDF 1.7.1 have now been released (thanks everyone that helped out). Most work in this release have been on improving the Deploy Tool user experience. We have added re-sizable window, auto-sorting + removal of blank rows in the container map and possibility to fast toggle between multiple QDF environments.

Add shortcuts to jump between QDF environments

It’s now possible to create “shortcuts” to quickly toggle between multiple QDF environments. This is useful when jumping between environments in a DTAP street (Dev ->Test ->Acc ->Prod)

First open the settings menu by selecting the gear icon to the upper left.
Under the settings form add available QDF environments (max 4), remove URL to hide the rows not used.
Each environment is represented as a shortcut available in the main drop-down panel, drill down and select suitable environment.

Stretch Deploy Tool

From 1.7.1 it’s possible to stretch out deploy tool to get window size to fit the text. Just hold and drag the bottom right corner.

Hi Magnus Berg, I have setup a new Test environment to with QDF version 1.7.2

But i am getting the following error.

Hi Arsih, have you tried changing security settings according documentation? QDF QlikView Getting Started Guide or read this article QDF 1.4.1 Error: Internal Fatal error (-130)
