Page can't be displayed error

Hi Friends -

New job, new problems and the bigger issue is that I don't even know what the problem is and where to start troubleshooting this. I will try my best to explain what I have and may be someone might be able to help me out here.

We have clustered environment and for some reason all the applications which were pre-loaded on the master server started throwing a 'page can't be displayed' error. Once the option to pre-load has been removed, the applications open up, but according to QVS Statistics, they are opening from the secondary server and not the master.

Things already tried (by people who have access to the servers)

1) Restart the master server

2) Restart the services on master

Has anybody had this issue before? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
