Force Hyperlink button to open in IE only

HI All,

I have a created Hyperlink button in a dashboard and the expectation is that when ever some one clicks on that button the link should always open in IE only irrespective in which(Chrome / Mozilla / Firefox) dashboard in opened.

Any idea how it can be done, Please advise.

Qlikview cannot force that. You need to make IE the default browser on the machine.

Try a Launch action instead of an Open URL action

I tried using Launch option as well but its not working is there any other way we can handle this by writing any Script kind of thing.

Launch should work since you can specify which application you want to run. But if it doesn't work then no you cannot solve this with a script kind of thing.

Hi,

For launch option i am using below parameters

Application : "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Parameters: my URL which need to open in IE only

Working Directory: %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%

after setting up all these i have opened access point in Chrome, when i click on hyperlink button we are getting below snap shot and that too its opening in chrome only in a new tab. so its not working as expected

Please suggest where is the issue.

Ah, you're using the ajax client. Well, then you can't use Launch.
