Changing the Access Point URL within the Access Point page..

I've read many great articles with information about adding parameters to the default Access Point (AJAX) URLs and several great articles about Mashups.

All work perfectly outside of Access Point. I need to add a parameter to a published document URL within Access Point that will allow me to identify that I've opened this document directly from Access point and not from an outside website.

Is this possible? Have I missed an article in the Community that shows how to do this for a Server based distribution via IIS?

Is there an internal variable like QVUsers that will pass the calling URL to the application?

The goal is to have different behavior on opening within Access Point vs. opening within Hyperspace without losing the 'state' of the application.
