      <title>Reload Failure on the Governance Apps. How do I get them working again?</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Was recently looking into the governance app and realized that they hadn't been updated since April 13, 2015. I looked into the scheduler and it had Failure beside both of the Operations and Licensing reloads.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a way to get these two apps working again?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tony&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Tyler,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is for the Qlik Sense Server that I recently installed. They worked&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for awhile and then stopped loading the data. When I start the License App&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it shows the last reload date of April 13, 2015.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I look at the QMC Scheduler the reloads have failed beside both the&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;License and Operations apps. These two apps are a must have, so I really&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;need to get them working.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Aha - I see the following error: in both logs:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Error: Connection not found: ArchivedLogsFolder&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible that server trolls have removed or modified the Data Connection "ArchivedLogFolder" (in QMC &amp;gt; Data Connections)?&amp;nbsp; By default, it is set to:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Archived Logs\&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check the QMC to see if that is still there. If it is still there and correct, then your case is very tricky.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If ArchivedLogsFolder data connection is &lt;STRONG&gt;not&lt;/STRONG&gt; there, you can get it back by doing the following.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;* Log in as the admin account, if possible. (You at least need to be a ContentAdmin or RootAdmin)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) Import the License Monitor app from C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; (You will be prompted to rename the app because License Monitor already exists. Change the name to something fun.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Publish the imported license Monitor app to the Governance stream and &lt;STRONG&gt;replace&lt;/STRONG&gt; the existing License Monitor app. (This preserves the GUID and reload task association.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) Try to reload both apps again (one at a time).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) (optional) Follow steps 1 and 2 for Operations Monitor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the ArchivedLogsFolder data connection&lt;STRONG&gt; is present but incorrect,&lt;/STRONG&gt; change it back to the default: C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\Archived Logs\&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hopefully this makes sense.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know how it goes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

So I would say try removing that username and password on the Data Connection and reload.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If that doesn't work, try logging in to the server where the app would be reloaded as the service account running the Qlik Sense services and then see if you can open a txt file in that folder.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

The only thing that is failing is the reload task for the license and Operations app. Please let me know which scripts you need and where they are located.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. I remove the QVDs from the Qlik\Sense\log folder and the reload tasks have a "...Reset" Status and remain ln that status.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can setup a go to meeting and showing you first hands what is happening? Let me know what time of day works for you. The Licensing App task was successfull and the License App open with Data last loaded of May 11.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, the Operations reload task status is failure and when I try and open Operations app this is the message box, An error occurred.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Glad to hear that License Monitor is reloading.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But, ah, the dreaded 'corrupt app'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good news is that when you installed Qlik Sense, the installer put down a copy of both apps in the Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps folder.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recommend replacing the corrupt Operations Monitor with the DefaultApps qvf as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Import the Operations Monitor.qvf from Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;You will be warned that "Operations Monitor" already exists&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;you can rename the app upon import or just import it.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Once imported, published the imported Operations Monitor (or whatever you renamed it to) to the Governance stream (or Monitoring apps stream - wherever the current Operations Monitor is)&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;*REPLACE the existing Operations Monitor &amp;gt; follow the prompts when you publish to replace the app&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Click okay or yes when you are asked to replace the existing app&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;For good measure, delete the governaceLogContent*.qvd from Qlik\Sense\Log&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The Operations monitor is updated now and should reload&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the steps above do not work - i.e. you get the corrupt app message again - you can delete the app using the QMC &amp;gt; Apps section and then import the other Operations Monitor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know how this goes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
