Direct Access Gateway - REST support

Direct Access Gateway (or Data Gateway - Direct Access - whatever you want to call it) has support for many common on-premises systems, however it doesn't support general ODBC (see ODBC Connector for Qlik Data Gateway - Qlik Community - 1979758) nor does it support REST - which is what this idea is for.

I know API-based on-premises systems aren't the most common data source, but it would be good to get support added for REST as we currently have to use Qlik DataTransfer and Qlik Sense Desktop (or Qlik Sense Enterprise Client Manager) for this which isn't ideal.
