Scatter with more than 1000 points

Hello,

Today, scatter chart is very limited because it can't display more than 1000 points.

Documentation :

If you have a scatter plot with large amounts of data (more than 1000 data points) Qlik Sense uses an algorithm to create an overview of the data, as shown in the scatter plot below. However, if you zoom or make selections so that the number of displayed data points is reduced to less than 1000 data points, the data will be shown as individual bubbles. This switch between compressed view and bubble view is done automatically. The density of the data points is reflected by color.

The function which automatically compress the data is not usefull when you color your point by a value.

In my case, I want to display more than 10 000 points. In the era of Big Data, it will be more frequent.

I'm Agree with Paul.

The Mapchart is not a valid alternative (IMHO).

I hope QlikTech can resolve as soos as possiblee this issue, that cause a very strict constraint for some high business value chart in my company.

The number of visible points in scatter plot was increased from 1,500 to 100,000 in the October 2022 release. If there are more than 5,000 bubbles, the labels and out of bounds will not be shown.
