This concept serves several purposes.</P> <OL> <LI>it allows you to group together a number of apps that need to be loaded at the same time. For example, at one client I have more than 10 apps extracting data out of the CRM system. They are all run every night and could be grouped into a single task.</LI> <LI>it allows for simpler dependencies. For example, if I have an app that depends on CRM data, I could trigger the load when the group task is completed.</LI> <LI>it reduces the number of tasks that need to be managed. At one of my clients, I have 100 tasks that need to be managed and chained together.
