It will be even better tool, If Qlik can send back certain findings from the app back to excel ( Most of today's financial models, valuation models, forecast projections etc) and return back the results from these excel models back to Qlik App and generate visualizations.

To learn how you can have Qlik write to excel tables and loop / update data. I have used it myself and it's very cool!
