Publish data schemas to Confluent Kafka Schema Registry: Please Allow json in addition to Avro

Currently in the Kafka endpoint and the "Metadata Message Publishing" section, when "Publish data schemas to Confluent Schema Registry is selected", the only option is to publish the messages in Avro format. It is strongly desired that json format be accommodated as well.
