Hello,

I suggest to have a better display of columns headers of dimensions on a pivot table.

If there is a lot of columns, it's difficult to associate the value with the column header.

My suggestion would be to put like this the column hearders :

it would be very clearer for business users.

Yes! Wholeheartedly agree. This has been a rather consistent source of confusion and a request from end users to do exactly what you've asked which we can't accommodate.

Absolutely! This needs to be implemented if possible.

The current pivot table layout not showing up headers properly aligned on columns is just causing trouble and confusion.

One of the (few) things QV users don' like on QS with no Horizontal filter. I have never understood why designing such a messy thing.

This is a much needed feature and I hope the R&D team will focus on it. Having an option for a flat dimension header structure would be a huge win!

We are working with multiple clients who are in the process of migrating their QV apps to QS and this has been a sticking point for adoption. Vizlib pivot tables provide this, but it's a paid solution. Would be nice to have out of the box as it would make adoption from QV to QS incredibly smoother.

This is a must!
We are trying to migrate our QV Ad hoc tool to QS and this is one of the big drawback we are finding.

Thank you all for your feedback on ways to improve our product. As you may know the tables are being reworked, you may have seen the new Nebula table. The column headers is on the shortlist of things we want to improve in the next version. Functionality of the new tables will grow over time, the new pivot is hopefully arrive during the spring of 2022.

Meanwhile, a hack could be to hijack the totals labels for dimension titles or use a straight table and hide duplicates with white font color.

+1 here. Just had a customer yesterday moving from QlikView to Qlik Sense (via AMP Programm) and wanted the headers right above the columns.

is it some kind of update or the date of introducing a new pivot table with headers? Or is there a solution with an extension that would replace this functionality?

It is a big problem in using QlikSence for data analysis.

Seems this issue is not a high priority for Qlik. It's an issue that we keep telling our users will be fixed shortly. Such a basic thing that is not getting addressed for some reason.

I also watched the video but still remains cautious. It was said that it was gonne be released soon and we were in september 21....We are in 23 and still no release date on thaat issue.

Thus, I'll belkieve it and will be thrilled when I see it.

This is a really big gap in Pivot Tables. I frequently get confused users as a result. 😟

Either move the filter icons onto the columns themselves as per the original suggestion or maybe allow a separate (optional) column heading object to retain existing look and feel if needed?
