idea Qlik Replicate - Enable windows authentication for MS SQL server from LINUX platform in Suggest an Idea

Problem for Ideation : Currently the Qlik Replicate product doesn’t support the windows authentication in Linux environment it only supports it in the windows platform for MS SQL server Database.

Alternative option is to use ODBC: Currently we have a use case to extract from the source MS SQL server Db full load (smaller volumes) and Ingest into the target MS SQL server Db and utilise the Linux cluster where QR services are configured.

Enabling windows authentication in Linux environment for QR will be an wonderful option and it will definitely add an value to the product.

There are configuration options that we expect can support this request. We plan to do some research with our professional services team to document an approach.

Following up - R&D found that it is possible - from a configuration perspective, rather than a product perspective to support this. For example - here is a link:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/linux/sql-server-linux-active-directory-authentication?view=sql-server-ver16 . We have had customers use this configuration method with success. We suggest that the customer can leverage Qlik professional Services if needed.
