Button chart can't select Hidden Fields.

It would be better Button chart can select fields with Expression editor.

Other charts can set fields hidden by HidePrefix.

Besides this, Date picker also can't select Hidden Fields.

Setting the field with expression editor will allow to change values of hidden fields with buttons.

And also will allow to set calculated fields so the field used to change the values can be more dynamic, this could be done with QlikView.

Solution

Please make your button definitions, with the field MYFIELD as along as it is unhidden. after this solution works, go to script and use the command line tag field MYFIELD with $hidden. Afterwards the buttons will continue working. 🙂

Rather than a Solution, that is a workaround, in case of a change you need to copy, unhide, reload, edit, hide, reload, publish.
A solution would be the one proposed by @rubenmarin that allows flexibility in the form of a calculated result 🙂
