G'day Qlik,

We also need a similar feature on . I made a separate post here , but it was closed as a duplicate of this post.

We need the ability to kill a developer reload task that has hung as it is possible to get locked out of the Data Load Editor. Qlik says that a reload is in progress.

G'day again,

This could be implemented in a couple of different ways:

1. If it is in the QMC/Console then it would also allow an admin to kill other developer tasks if they felt the server was being overloaded.

2. An alternative idea to solve this problem is to allow the developer in to the Data Load Editor if the running reload is their own task. This would give them access to the cancel button.

The time this feature usually becomes necessary is when a large load statement is cancelled and the entire environment appears to hang. This is where it would be good to be able to kill the task from the console.
