Insight Advisor does not recognize the YTD term. For example, "What are YTD sales compared to last year?". How can I make the logical model select the current year and all year-to-date months when the term YTD is used?

Hello @DGO , I can think of two methods for you to test here.

First, you could try phrasing the question to be "Show me the sales this year compared to last year". That will always return a period over period comparison.

Second, you could set up a custom analysis in the logical model where the term YTD is mapped to the year to date analysis type.

Take a look at some of this documentation on custom analysis when you have a chance.

Hi @Nasser_Bumpus,

"Show me the sales this year compared to last year" returns a comparison of Jan-Feb this year vs Jan-Dec last year. The target is to get Insight Advisor to return Jan-Feb this year vs Jan-Feb last year.

I read through the documentation and cannot find how to do this.
