File (via Direct Access gateway) troubleshooting

Hi Everyone.

Try new option for Direct Access Gateway File (via Direct Access gateway).

What I have now:

Direct Access Gateway updated to 1.7.0 and connected to my QlikCloud
C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Gateway\configuration-file-connector.properties file has 1 row with c:\temp value
DirectAccessAgent service run from account with local admin rights
service users has full NTFS rights for c:\temp folder.
there are no any warn or error in file C:\Program Files\Qlik\ConnectorAgent\data\logs\file-connector_logs_250115.log
File connector look like running well:
7 2025-01-15 11:11:28 [Manager ] [INFO ] Started File process (3304) with worker process (5816).
"Added datasource (unfiltered): id=File_local, name=GRPC based QVX Library File Hosting Connector Source from connector FileConnector.exe"

Result

I can't found DataConnection with name "File (via Direct Access gateway)" in any space

"File (via Direct Access Gateway)" is not globally enabled in Qlik Cloud, yet.

You will need to wait until it is, if you didn't have an agreement for early testing.

In most regions it will be enabled leater today. For tenants in the .eu. region you will need to wait until January 28.

Ok. Currenly we have a problem with UNC path,

in configuration-file-connector.properties file

c:\temp - message: "Connection succeeded"

\\server\share -

detailMessage: "Status(StatusCode=\"Internal\", Detail=\"Command testconnection returned non-success: Failed - Cannot find the path '\\\\server\\share'\")"

get list of avalable path result is

Solved by clear reinstall
