Qlik Sense to Qlik Cloud Migration Tool - Could Not Access Data Files

Hi!

I'm conducting a migration from Qlik Sense to Qlik Cloud and populating my first plan. I have a message within the tool stating that it could not access the folder for the data files I wish to move across, with no explanation to why to help me troubleshoot / what steps I need to take to resolve.

To confirm I am on v2.2.2, the tool is on a separate server to Qlik Sense (as advised by the tool documentation). I understand you can manually upload the files to the space, however with the volume of apps I will be moving in this manner, I'd really like to use the tool to minimise manual effort.

Could you advise what could be the issue / what steps I need to take to resolve?

Hi @BenParker

Try the following:

Try using a UNC path instead of a hard-coded folder path. See below:

Convert the path to a UNC share: \\<QlikSenseServerName>\A-BEN-MIGRATION\

Also, the migration tool runs under a Windows service account (or the account of whoever installed/runs it). That account may not have read access to the share or the NTFS permissions on the folder.
