On demand report with input variable

Hi,

I'm creating an on demand report with N printing 16.4.

I'm using with success the extension object in order to allow users to make selections and print their report.

Now I have a problem: users use an input box to set a variable which is used to calculate some expressions. I noticed that the report doesn't update with the values of this variable set by users.

Is there a solution?

I had a similar issue earlier, I tried to ask users to input the values in Excel file in the shared location.

Then we load the excel from shared location into qlikview. An use excel values directly for expression in Qlikview.

Once done, load this complete QV application as source in NPrinting. So now that you no need to use Variables in NPrinting.

Thank you but I need users change the variable on access point.

I understand it's not possible, so I change the expression in order not to use the variable.

Yes, it's a nice solution, but I prefered to change expression in front end without using variable.
