      <title>Restore for Nprinting database failed, please help</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;We recently upgraded to &lt;STRONG&gt;18.03 from 17.6&lt;/STRONG&gt; and lost our database. We need to restore it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We shut down all the NPrinting services.&amp;nbsp; We are desperate if anyone knows how to do a restore or know what is causing the error please let us know.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/Restoring-Qlik-NPrinting-from-a-backup.htm" target="_blank"&gt;https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2018/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/Restoring-Qlik-NPrinting-from-a-backup.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Qlik.Nprinting.Manager.exe restore -f D:\NprintingBackup\NP_Backup_20180228_ -p "C:\Program Files\NPrintingServer\pgsql\bin" --pg-password ##########&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We get the following Error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Failed to establish a connection to 'localhost'. ---&amp;gt; System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:4992&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Once I started the Repo Service it tried to restore but it would not finish do to an error in log. &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Attached is the log it produced from &lt;SPAN style="font-size: 13.3333px;"&gt;Qlik.Nprinting.Manager.exe&lt;/SPAN&gt;.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;See attachments&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/qlik-users/3788" target="_blank"&gt;The specified user was not found.&lt;/A&gt;‌&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure if that's important or not.&amp;nbsp; Have you tried restarting the system?&amp;nbsp; I know that's a hail mary, but even hail mary passes have a success rate greater than 0%.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the connection error is indeed because of the repo service (pgsql) not running. You fixed that by starting the service.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The real error is most likely caused by .zip missing from the filename.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BR,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Matus&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
