Unable to create Bar Chart using Straight Table data dump

Hi All,

I am trying to build a bar chart using a straight table dump

The NPrinting template editor looks like this: (I have a stright table, which I used to build a bar chart at the bottom)

The Output looks like this

Straight table pulled from the Qlik sense app shows values

But the bar chart does not populate any numbers and shows empty (except for the X-axis, which populates all expected values)

Application Details: NPrinting 17.3 for Qlik Sense

Any help would be appreciated.

I see that numbers in the straight table are being treated as strings, even though I used excel formatting to explicitly type cast the cells as Currency or Numbers. If you notice the cell values, they are left aligned and being treated as strings, which is why the chart doesn't show any values.

Is there work around to convert these cell values to numbers ?

The solution is to type cast data correctly and use make the right selections when building charts in excel
