Use a Word report as template

Hi,

I have created a Word report. Is it possible to export this report as a template?

I want use this report as template for a few new reports.

This is nice. But you still need always to add all your used objects again?
But this saved time.

Hi Wouter,

Yes you still need to add the objects again as the template is a regular file (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) that does not store this stuff:

Same for template files in NPrinting 16.x and earlier versions as well. The difference is that in 16.x you could Clone a report & that populated the objects list and stored it in the NPrinting project (NSQ - not the template file).
