Authentication required on clicking On Demand button in Access Point

Hi All,

We have installed On Demand add on in Qlikview server and we are trying to generate On Demand report through access point.

On clicking the On Demand button we are getting a Authentication Required pop up box as shown below

We have given necessary permission to the user as mentioned in the below lInk

NPrinting 17 On Demand - Authentication Required?!

But still we are facing the same issue

Hi,

Please check to have the Windows authentication enabled in Qlik NPrinting for the user you are using.

If this is not enought please verify to met all the requirements you find in the helpsite page Enabling On-Demand reports ‒ Qlik NPrinting

Access to On-Demand reporting is set in security roles and is applied at an app level. This limits access to On-Demand reports on an app-by-app basis.

Before you begin

Note the following:

The Qlik NPrinting On-Demand Add-on must be installed on the QlikView Server.

The Qlik NPrinting administrator must assign On-Demand users a security role with On-Demand Create authorization.

Users creating On-Demand reports in QlikView must have their Windows Active Directory user account associated with their Qlik NPrinting Web Console user account.

Users creating On-Demand reports in QlikView must have a domain and user associated to their Qlik NPrinting Web Console user account that matches the domain and user of their QlikView Server Windows Active Directory user account.

Applying section access and current selections present in the QlikView document is supported.

On-Demand sessions appear in the QVS Statistics tab of the QlikView Server, but do not count against session CAL totals.

Thank you for replying

The NPrinting server and Qlikview server are installed in the same machine. Also we have done below settings

1) Windows Authentication is enabled in NPrinting server

2) SSL certificate is not installed in the server so we have added http://qlikservername in the trusted origin

3) We have added Nprinting user in the Qlikview Administrator and Qlikview Management API group

4) We have enabled On Demand option at the App level

5) We have enabled On Demand create option in security role for the user

6) For App we have used qvp connection as local connection is not supported

Please verify to have met the rule:

Users creating On-Demand reports in QlikView must have their Windows Active Directory user account associated with their Qlik NPrinting Web Console user account.
