Connection is Blank while creating Task in nPrinting

I have created new template file in nprinting, created a connection first then added an excel report and saved everything.

after that that i am trying to create the task but connection is coming as blank, kindly help me to fix this

- now provide information we can use: versions of software, setup, connection type, and steps you have taken..etc..make some effort to describe architecture, user credentials, how you create templates, what template format?

go to connections tab and check is connection successful or not?

and try to reload the metadata again?

is preview is coming for your excel report?

if not

check all services are running or not? if not restart the services and do all the above steps.

There you go mate...

the bad news is that i have no NP16 instance i can test things on so i will not be able to help you much - sorry mate.

Still - for others provide more details - be specific as high level informations are not helping us!!!:

exact version of NPrinting - is 16.7?
exact version of QlikView desktop and QlikVIew server - are they the same? are the v 11.2 or 12 or 12.1 or 12.2? Which SR??
share some screenshots of your connection - does it generate metadata?

Hi Hari,

Add a report to the task. The Connection field will be populated based on the Connection(s) used in the report.

Yes that whats the exact problem is, in the connection field it is blank, but have a connection in template..

Hi Hari,

As mentioned, when you first create a TASK, the Connection field is blank

Once you add at least one REPORT to the TASK

the field is populated with the Connection(s) in the added report(s). In this example I added a report that uses 2 Connections
