One Nprinting pointing to Dev and Prod Qlik Sense Env.

When exporting the certificate from dev or prod qlik Sense and installing at NPrinting Server, existing certificate is got replaced.

At any point of time, only one Qlik Sense Env Certificate can be installed at NPrinting Server. Thus One NPrinting pointing to One Qlik Sense Environment.

How to make One Nprinting server pointing to Qlik Dev and Qlik Prod same time. Is it possible?

Hi,

From http://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2017/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/NPrinting-with-Sense.htm: "Due to a limitation on Qlik Sense certificates, Qlik NPrinting can only connect to one Qlik Sense installation at a time."

A workaround is to install a Qlik NPrinting Dev server different then the production one and connect it to the Sense Dev server. Then you export the developed reports and import them in the production server.

Or you have to overwrite the certificates every time as you are already doing.

@Ruggero_Piccoli has this requirement / limitation changed? See link for the reference which suggests that multiple servers can be connected at the same time.

Hi,

Yes, this is not more a limitation since June 2019 release. From June 2019 official Release Notes:

Support for multiple Qlik Sense connections
Qlik NPrinting supports connections to multiple Qlik Sense servers. You can also create a single report template with data from multiple Qlik Sense servers and QlikView documents.

The procedure to install the Qlik Sense certificates is also changed. The new is documented in the official help site https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2019/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/NPrinting-with-Sense.htm
