Export to Excel Renders only Chart name and no data is showing up in Excel output

Hello, We just started using NPrinting and when we build the report in NPrinting and added some Charts to the Designer. When this is exported to Excel we do not get any data, only the template shows up. How do we populate data when exported report to excel. Attached are the images with NPrinting Designer and also output when export to Excel.

Please suggest some insight on what might be missing.

Hi Kalyan,

When you say "export to Excel" what exact steps do you take? What do you see when you click the Preview button (in the Actions section of the ribbon) from within the Template Editor?

Hi,

You just started to use Qlik NPrinting so I strongly suggest to execute the getting starting tutorial step by step https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2019/Content/NPrinting/Introduction/Get-started.htm.

Then you should study the chapters about Excel templates development https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2019/Content/NPrinting/ExcelReports/Intro-Excel.htm

There are also many video tutorials.

For example, placing tags and column titles on the right of another tag (<CH175>) is wrong because the data from CH175, that has 11 columns) will overlap the columns C, D and E.

I am trying to export from NPrinting Webportal- Reports/Reportname > Export.

When I do preview, it does populate the data.

I just wanted to show a simple sample of my issue by placing chart items, individual items and show the output, that is the reason i placed them in successive columns.

Hi,

This is the button to export the template for example to import it again and clone to a new report or to move it to a different Qlik NPrinting installation.

You must run a report preview from the template editor.

Thanks for clarifying on Export button functionality. The Preview button shows the preview of data, how would a user who needs to get full data run report in excel format from NPrinting web console?
