Hi,

I am generating a PDF using Qlikview Npriniting with different formatting done. I need to put this PDF in the email body rather than as an attachment.

Has anybody done this before?

Hi,

Please always specify the version of Qlik NPrinting you are using. In many cases, like this, the answer depends on the version. I suppose you are using latest available at the moment, June 2019.

About how to embed a report in the email bodies refer to the help site page http://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/June2019/Content/NPrinting/DistributionSchedulesAutomation/DistributingReportsbyEmail.htm#anchor-4

Of course, a PDF cannot be embedded in an email body because, by international standard, email bodies can only be in text or HTML format (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email#Plain_text_and_HTML). So it is not possible to embed a PDF also outside Qlik NPrinting.

Thanks for the reply.

I wanted the content of the PDF on mail but since it doesnt seem possible will it be possible in some way to replicate the dashboard (Screen shot or something) and generate a PDF out of it??
